Someone asked that of Rex in the press conference, he gave a phony baloney answer about how Tebow was practicing all week as the backup quarterback while in the same breath saying he wouldn't use him unless he absolutely had to.

Yeah, okay...so you went into a game with one healthy quarterback for what reason? To get another horrendous special teams player in the lineup? It honestly seems like Rex is taking great pains to go to the wall with Sanchez, which means playing Tebow less and not even giving McElroy a shot.

And secretly sticking it to Phil Simms, as if he's saying "I'd rather have a quarterback that I won't ever play than your son."

Honestly, even though Mcelroy is limited, at least he wouldn't put on a shitshow like Mark did yesterday. #FreeMcelroy

If Tebow or McElroy stepped on the field & completed 50% of their passes & produced only one turnover, the Jets QB production would actually improve. With the bar set so low for improvement @ QB, let the other guys get a shot alreay.

If Sanchez got into coma when he hit that ass, he still deserves to be our starting QB for the rest of this season. Tebow or McElroy is not Jets caliber QB. Sanchez gives us the best chance to put up good stats.

Sanchez wasn't the reason we lost yesterday. Greene couldn't convert 4th and 1 on two occasions, killing potential 14 points. Then McKnight gave a nice gift wrapped 7 point play. Our D gave up several long drives and couldn't stop Brady on 3rd downs, when the whole stadium knew QB sneaks were coming. Chaz Schilen didn't help much either. Sanchez played ok. The int was bad, but not horrible. The "butt fumble" was obviously a botched play that God knows who's fault it was.

Jets and Pats had almost identical total yardage. The only difference were the turnovers and the huge plays our outstanding D gave up. Sanchez wasn't the issue.

Even nuns would see that the lack of "lube" is the problem, which Sanchez is a major part of. All of us watching the games now are just watching and waiting for the next clusterfuck to arrive.

An even bigger problem is that it's an offence's league these days and the QB position's value has been amplified dramatically just over the last years. And with that in mind, having an incosistent and at the best of times 'decent' Sanchez simply won't cut it anymore.

Totally agree with your last paragraph. I've never seen three consecutive plays like that in my life. Those were three of those most ridiculious touchdowns I've ever seen.

1) Sanchez going to slide to go down, but Wilfork slams Moore directly into Sanchez's head as he goes down forcing a fumble?
2) A fucking swing pass for 83 yards?
3) Kick return fumble landing right into the Pats players arm?

What a fucking joke. It was comical to say the least, but those three plays are all ridiculous. The entire team deserves blame for this game, not just Sanchez.
