Not trying to be a troll, but I must be missing something here. The Steeler game aside, McIntyre's is not NFL-caliber speed-wise, and while he's a gritty hustler, he strikes me as a below average "chaser" in the mold of an Eric Smith (if Smith were a LB). JMHO.

You never know. I don't think the guy has ever had a real shot anywhere. Here's his chance. If he can produce similar number this week to last week, he could definitely be a solid starter/contributor.

Wikipedia has him at 270, Jets website says 255 which seems more accurate. Not small regardless.

There was 1 play early in the game where McIntyre blew a coverage badly. The other defenders got on him quick but he settled down after that.
I like players that don't quit...he reminds me of Devito but @ LBer

I agree that he is not fast, but think he has some good quickness which can compensate in most cases.
