You don't just eat the salary. It counts as dead money against the cap. The Jets are stuck with him.

Terrell Owens, Miles Austin and Jason Witten have had no problems producing with Romo. Hell even Laurent Robinson has more 100 yard games than Bryant in just his 1 season with the Cowboys.

The Jets would save $1.25 million in cap space if he were cut next year - but they would also have the $11.25 million in dead money.

Conflicting reports

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter
Jets are likely to sign former 49ers WR Jason Hill.

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter
Check that: Jets signing WR Jason Hill.

Jason La Canfora ‏@JasonLaCanfora
Saints are signing one of those 5 WRs they worked out - Jason Hill

*edit, cleared up.*

Jason La Canfora ‏@JasonLaCanfora
Sorry, got confused there - the Jets signed WR Jason Hill. Bracing for loss of Santonio Holmes for season

Looks like a done deal according to AS....guy has experience. Can he run a route and catch the ball or is he just another body?

Please tell me who you would want to try to trade for or pick up from free agency.
TO or Ocho, Plax is only good in the redzone, Plax isn't gonna get us to the Redzone and we need players that are gonna move the chains to get us there Plax aint gonna do that for us

Roll with what we have and use a high pick on his replacement in the draft. I understand we cant really get rid of him but its time to move on anyway. POS.

I skipped pages 3-4. Are we still getting derailed by a Tebow/Cowboys troll?

They have a lot of holes to fill -- RB - unless someone else other than greene steps up, line backer, safety, offensive line, wide receiver

guys have an opportunity this season to solidify their spot on the team...question is which young guys step up
