I would be very optimistic about this season again. It shows resilience, which is key for any team.

I think that it would be one of the biggest upsets pulled off in Jets history. Now, would that be able to propel them to a season of success? Don't count on it. But it would certainly make this week enjoyable at least.

If the Jets win in a high scoring game, I'd lose my office pool.

If they lose in a low scoring game I still will win the pool. Here's to a 13 - 10 Jet victory!

If we beat the Texans it will make this message board much more enjoyable. It was hard to read this week, haven't seen this much bashing of just about everyone in a while. This win will absolve the team of their sins in the previous game. Trap game for the Texans. It will happen!

this has been one dark board as of late. with good reason, but it goes way overboard for me sometimes.

If we beat the Texans it means that Rex owns a Delorean;
and used it to go back in time to keep Revis from being injured.

Ah, I love it when fans exhibit such optimism.

It's called gallows humor. I'll be rooting like hell for us to win;
but that doesn't mean I think that it's likely.

Unfortunately, if the Jets beat the Texans not much will change -- we'll still have a slow, depleted defense and an offense that can't consistently stay on the field due to its total lack of running game/alarmingly inaccurate QB.

At least it would quiet the Tebow talk for a few weeks.

Can't begin to follow your logic here. What do you think they did when they got Revis to start with ? Yep, they got a "name rookie". Thing is, he priced himself out too quickly. Trade him for picks, off load his salary, use those picks to get someone comparable if at all possible (there's usually a standout CB or two every year), and bring him in at rookie wage scale.

That frees up cap space to get better at other positions and have a more balanced, better and deeper defense.

If we had won the game we would still gain no respect in the league. Jason Whitlock actually made an article where he explains how we are an embarrassment to the NFL. This team could be 4-0 right now and we would still garner no more respect then lets say the Cleveland Browns. Typical Jets shit!

He "priced himself out"... is that what they call being awesome these days?
