In all the years of rooting for this team, this guy is one of, if not the most, hated players to ever wear the colors.

His demeanor on the field...his attitude and looks he gives the qb. His standing and with ball in hand pointing to the first down and then dropping the ball at the refs feet standing right next to him with arms open. His answers to the press.

He is a first class piece of shit. I would have no problem with a season ending something happening to this guy. No problem. Letting the kids grow and not having his poisonous mouth among them. He is their teacher? Are you friggin kidding me?

A piece of shit born from the womb of a position that gives birth to shit. The only position when you are playing like shit you think you have the right to be even a bigger dick.

The wide receiver position in the NFL owns more jerk offs than any other position in all of sports..including the goons of hockey. They at least give a 100 percent every night.

Holmes just exemplifies how big of an asshole you are allowed to be..if you have WR next to your name.

This guy has no toughness what-so-ever and I'm starting to lose all respect for him. You could even see Ike Taylor bitching him out on the filed as he was getting tired of Holmes looking to the officials for a flag after every play.

Almost all receivers look to the refs when the coverage is tight, good corners will be just physical enough to disrupt a pass, but not physical enough to draw a flag, it's an extremely thin line.

But riddle me this, if we got rid of Holmes, who would be our number 1? Stephen Hill the rookie? Jeremy Kerley? Chaz Schillens?! God please no. I'll keep Holmes just for what he can do on the field.

Holmes has his issues, but he has also done a lot for us. His OT catch against the Browns, his game winning catch against Houston, his impressive touchdown catch against NE in the divisional game, I didn't hear anybody calling for his head after those games.

Too bad Holmes dropped all those balls , that could have been his first 100 yard game in about 2 years,,,,,,

The guy is talented that I cannot deny , the guy is also one of the biggest douches I have ever seen, that s undeniable as well !

And all the games you mentioned came before Holme$ signed his $50 million contract. He had to be a choirboy to get the big money, once he did he hasn't given two shits after that.

And aside from that "magical" three game run in 2010, he didn't do dick the rest of the season either (aside from that corner EZ grab in NE). Throw out the Detroit, Houston and Cleveland "series" and what do you have in 32 games? (Because he was suspended for four)

He's a #2 WR in a #1 WR's role with a Top 10 all-time #1 WR mindset.

Maybe so, but he's still the best receiver we got.

So besides all those great things he did, what else did he do? Is that what you are saying here?

After the 2013 it is going to be a really attractive option to cut ties. Hopefully we have a good stable by then and can afford to get this guy TFO. This guy is one of the biggest turd in the league right now in terms of on field dramatics and acting like hot shit when he's the really the biggest joke of a number one in the league.

Holmes is due to make an impact on this game. Especially if Keller isn't 100%. Keller is our #1 Dolphins killer (Edwards used to be). Holmes needs to step it up and make more plays. I think he will answer. Pittsburgh's secondary is no joke.

What happened to Braylon last week? I started him on my fantasy team and he goose egged? Did he get injured? That was bunk.

Been a Steeler fan since 1968. Saw some great receivers in that time including a few Steelers. When I first saw Holmes with Ohio St I was impressed with his talents. When the Steelers drafted him I was pumped. I saw the second coming of Lynn Swan. He was hard to coach and took three years for him to finally get a chance. Sadly off the field he was living a double life. Steelers brass had him under watch along with the NFL investigation department. Rooney had no choice but to release him. Some you you will say "how come not Ben"! Fair question. Ben was an incident where Holmes had a rap sheet. Also their are things that are not public access with his rap sheet. I will always love this guy for what he did. He's young and has time to change. I think he's a great pick up for you guys still. I expect great things from him before it's over. he can be an elite WR. I think last year being captain overwhelmed him. Stop with the hate and give him this year to sort things out. If there's a player that can get you to the dance, it's Antonio Holmes. I hope he can deliver to Jet fans what he gave us Steeler fans........people change.

Give him your support and enjoy the ride. Good Luck Jet fans and how bout knock those Pats down a notch.

Can we just stick with Droptonio....until he starts catching something other than grief.

7 catches for 135 yards and 2 td's against Miami and even I can like an asshole...no problemo.
