Most likely will finish around 850 Yards but you never know, he has a solid chance to crack 1,000.

I think he will either come very close to 1,000 or just make it by a few yards.

We need to continue and take shots down field; for several reasons.
#1 Marks completion % has always been pretty high with passes over 20 yards, higher than his normal % BY FAR (about a 20% increase)

#2 Backs the saftys out of the box and makes our running game more effectieve! Keep tossing it 20+!

Pretty good for a fifth round pick. Who knows...maybe he'll shock us all and make the pro bowl.

i think this is very possible as long as rex/sparano is letting mark throw the ball down field and at least having 20-25+ att per game.

I think this is one area where we're seeing a big difference between Sparano and Schotty. Ground and pound is going to be much more effective if you can effectively and frequently work the ball down field when you're passing. I think the offense is going to get better as the season wears on.

Like he did last year? I guess the chances are pretty high then.

I'm loving Kerley so far. He's showing he CAN be THAT guy. Holmes provides a nice threat, but if he does indeed put together a better season than Holmes has had the last couple years, then we can save A LOT of money cutting or trading Holmes and spend those resources on an OLB and still get to retain Keller and Landry! Holmes does make this offense better, however. I don't think any of our receivers can make the acrobatic type catches that he makes.

As long as he doesn't miss any time, Kerley is a lock for 1000 yards. While Hill still has to make big improvements in his game, his sheer speed will keep the coverage off of Kerley, and Kerley will get from 8 to 12 targets a game.

Kerley isn't fast , he's quick and runs very good routes.
Being a slot WR doesn't mean you aren't number 1 WR material. Victor Cruz is primarily a slot guy (of course he makes big plays on the outside too) and he's a #1 option (or at the least 1B to Hakeem Nicks 1A). Prior to Cruz, Steve Smith had 112 catches operating primarily out of the slot. If anything, Kerley is more physically gifted than Smith. I think he can be a #1 read.

1000 yards? You're talking about just the Miami game, right? He has a good chance.

I like Kerley, but teams will eventually start giving him more attention in coverage. I can see him getting 800+.
Kerley and Hill can get there

Kerley can play. I like his potential he has taken some hits over the middle and held on. Good player.

I don't know if I see Hill getting there. His lack of experience probably limits the routes he can run and his physical tools lend teams to trying to take away big plays by default. He'll churn out some yards, but 1,000 is a lot.

I agree - he is tough, reliable, seems to have high awareness, etc.

I hope that the jets have found an answer at WR with Kerely and Hill.

It'd be nice I'd Keller can join them.

The question is: What team drafts a QB with 1 year of experience past HS to lead a NY franchise with little to no help along the way? Furthermore, what team drafts the same QB and isn't willing to develop him, knowing all of this? 5th pick overall: that is on the Jets.

No way Hill is getting there. Not saying he won't see some targets, but we don't throw enough and he is probably going to be the third (most of the time) or fourth option on every play. Add in that he is a rookie and I see around 400-600 yards.
