He's not the long-term solution for ILB @ Buffalo but that doesn't mean he can't function as an adequate transition player in the meantime.
He isn't a long-term or short-term solution at this point. Idk who the sub ILB are for the Bills but I could imagine they could put up just as good as production for a fraction of the price. Even as a 2 down ILB for the Jets last year, he wasn't good, period.

By all means though, I hope Buf signs him so he can take up a roster spot.

Great, now I don't know which way is up.

If Bart went to Buffalo the Jets rushing attack would increase for Two games next year. Bart was a liability in the middle. Its good to show loyalty but lets call it like it was Bart was often out of position and slow to the ball and missed a lot of tackles and once the ball was past him he is not catching up. Wasnt good in pass defense so time to get younger like the Pats.

look at the bright side: he would be an immediate improvement over darcy regier...

.... I don't get it.

Anyway, Buddy Nix was asked about signing any ex-Jets because of the defensive coaches, and he said something along the lines of "if they're good players we'll look into it, but we're not signing anybody just because a coach knows him."

Doesn't sound like they're interested in Scott to me. If they were, they'd have talked to him already, IMO.
