So in Rex's conference call this afternoon, he basically dodged all questions about Tebow and gave no real reason as to why he was going with McElroy instead of Tebow except that it was his decision and he thought it was the right decision for the team. Nothing about "winning", apparently, maybe he figured it was a bridge too far to use that one again.

I also think he knows that Tebow will not be the team next year but McElroy will. This is basically an early tryout for McElroy heading into training camp next year.
