Default curtis martin with joe b and evan roberts

i didnt see anything posted about this.

what an amazing interview with curtis martin, he nearly brought me to tears listening to him talk about how he doesnt really care about people looking back at his tds or rushing yards, he wants his daughter to be able to say i want to marry a man like my father.

talked about how parcells was the first man he ever had any respect for or looked up to because of his upbringing.

talked about how football was more of a job and not something he really loved. started going into his history at home and how his grandma was murdered and one of his best friends was shot in the chest and how his mom asked him to get involved in something be it football, baseball or dance... just anything so he wouldnt be out on the street.

he was talking about how thats how he was forced into football and then realized he was pretty good at it and that even though he never loved the game he worked so hard because thats how he is with everything he does.

sadly instead of continuing to let him talk and open up dipshit joe pulled a meathead move and interupted him and asked him about tebow and rex... ugh i coulda punched joe in the temple for that one.

what a truely amazing guy. not sure if the link to the podcast will work but im going to try.

i was actually kind of impressed with them until the end. i was kind of surprised how well they did until joe just completely killed what could have been a 20 minute talk about things in his life and how he came through them. he simply cut him off and went on to the fucking tebow and rex questions.

it was really a shame.

but i wanted to focus a little more on what curtis did say, which was absolutely amazing to listen to.
