This first game W coupled with the Giants loss to the Cowboys (yes, it matters, at least in week one) was just what we needed. A bad loss this Sunday would have made for a horrendous week for all of us. We should all celebrate and feel some relief over it even though it really is just one game.

As I was saying prior to Game 1, these sportstalk guys hear somebody say something and they all just repeat what the first guy said. None of them are actually thinking for themselves. If they think it will get them a bump in their ratings they'll say it regardless of whether it's accurate or not or if it makes them look like fools later on.

I think most everyone realizes it's one game. But when you look at what we went through as fans from Christmas Eve right on through the pre-season with the constant bashing, you can't expect us not to feel some joy and relief at how the season got started.

Sometimes you have to live in the moment, we all know we want to beat the Pats and win a Super Bowl but you can only play the games as they come along. It's a division win, we'll take it. Right off the top of my head I can think of 2001 when losing at home to a bad Buffalo team cost us the division and a bye, probably happened in other years too, so let's enjoy it and see what Pittsburgh has for us.

Agree, I hope the Bills are playing decent when we play them so that our starters will be in. I hate when teams mail in the last game. keep the momentum going is how you win a SB.
