hmmmm.... I've GOT IT!!!

Reality TV star. You KNOW a TV network is ITCHING to give him a show.
Personally... I think Tebow is a terrible public speaker. Always comes off as aqward to me. I doubt he'd be good for television. He's much better in one on one conversations.

I just want to see the dude play football... May have to find a way to watch CFL games if thats what it comes down to, but I just love the way he plays the game.

I encourage the T-hater and fan alike to not just skim this but read it.

When I first heard the news that Tebow was going to the jets I was excited about what I was hearing. I did not think (and said as much 100 times on this site ) that Tebow was being brought in to start however I was very excited about the possibility of him being used 15-20 times a game.

Think about this.... in the last games of his rookie year and the 2011 run he had 32 TDs , he was the #1 red zone efficiency threat in the entire NFL per snap. the Jets were one of the top red zone teams! It was a match made in heaven.
Sure I was wary of captain fist pump Sparano but I thought that him coaching miami during the wildcat craze was going to be an unexpected bonus . I thought Tebow would impact the Jets offense, score 12-15 Tds , help the jets get into the playoffs , I was flying high and ready to make the Jets my second favorite team, better yet I was already a member here for 5 months .

It was a perfect situation.

Fast forward a year later, after being insulted on these forums and called every name in the book for being a fan of a player on the Jets and hoping he does well(that still boggles my mind), after Sanchez imploded again and again and again (one of the worst predictions in my life was that Sanchez would play great and rise to the occasion) , after the New England game were they had a 1st down from the 3 yard line and never brought Tebow in and did not score a TD (it would have won the game) , after seeing Jets fans jump across a shark infested moat to come to the rescue of a Dolphins fans I am having a tiff with...I realize how different the outcome I had hoped for ended up being . I'll admit reflecting on everything the last few days coupled with the yearly ,set your clock by it, Cowboys implosion has me a bit down.

I realize something now in any case. I did meet some cool people along the way and made some internet friends , I debated some heavy hitters as well as some lightweights and it was always entertaining. I have no regrets. I'll still continue to be Tebow fan for the rest of my life. Whether he plays or not ever again , I had a good run being a fan of his and will continue to be a fan of his and contribute to his charity.

That's a champ reply and well written. Don't be ashamed to follow a person or a team. Folks seem to forget its entertainment and pretend to be couch coaches because they live vicariously through a football team. Football is a game and some fans are childish little lads who lash out on the Internet. Good on ya man! Good read.

He certainly seems like he was on his fathers account. What grown man talks about getting a blow job from another man on a football forum? I do have to admit I do feel sorry for him.

So you chose to follow along the people who follow along a player that cant play instead? That makes complete sense.

Nope, but I live in Jacksonville, FL. I do have family that live in NY however and they are always mad for some reason. Always wondered why they were so mad. Is it the snow?

Actually, this is the Tebow forum, or had you forgotten? If you want the Jets forum, go here: To view links in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. Your post count is 0 momentarily.

Actually I think you guys have already re-invented fandom. You guys live in an abattoir for hope, and you like it.

This franchise is a burning dumpster fire. Seriously, without looking anything up, do the Jets have the worst record over the past 40 years? Namath had some bad years after 73 (his 4000 yard season, right?). Heck the losing records may have started in 71 or 72.

You had the Richard Todd era. Some playoff teams, no Superbowl appearances.

Then it's a big blur until Parcells came in. He left, and it was another blur.

And there have been some awful teams during this time.

Looking at this as an outsider, I don't know where you go from here. The obvious thing to do was to clean house. You didn't. I'm expecting next year to be a re-run of this year.

Your number one problem is Rex Ryan. Until you fix that, you will keep on doing the same things over and over.

Take that for what's it worth. I don't dislike the Jets, as I do some other NFL teams. Other than wanting to see Tebow play I have no reason to pay attention to them either.

But most people know a mess when they see it, and this is a mess.

This is the Tebow subforum, but you're free to practice douchebaggery anywhere you like.

Westhoff... are you really sure that it was a mess? We all thought the Tebow experiment was BRILLIANT. A masterful display of football.
