Very smart move why go to a shitty NFL team and fail and lose a insane job of coaching the most dynamic offensive team in the world

sounds like he didn't get good offers that were paying him what he wanted, so he figured he could squeeze Oregon for another raise.

I agree, just keep coaching Oregon until you can get the job you want. Not go to the NFL, lose and get fired 2 years later.
