Agreed -- he is overpaid. The problem is he doesn't have enough detractors on the internet following him around, making sure his team is made constantly aware of his limitations.

He also doesn't have a bunch of groupies on the internet defending his honor and trying to convince everyone that he is a QB. He also willingly changed positions in the NFL and didn't try to hold onto the dream of being an NFL QB when he didn't have the skill set even though he was a very good college QB. He's obviously way better as a wildcat QB than Tebow, it's not debatable.

So now Tebows shittiness as a wildcat QB are Sparanos fault. As if Sparano doesn't know how to run the wildcat! LMFAO that's the funniest one yet!
The wildcat is a simpleton package that Sparano's staff BROUGHT TO THE NFL. It also worked better when Kerley ran it, bc like Smith, Kerley is a fluid athlete with speed. They also read the keys faster than Tebow, who consistently made the incorrect read. Perhaps they would have used Tim more if he actually was good at it, the way Brad Smith was for three years behind the same OL. |

Ironic thing is I'm pretty sure that they made the move for Tebow thinking he would fill the void left by Brad Smith's departure, despite fans thinking it was to be the QB...... neither worked. oh well, hopefully the whole offense gets scrapped and overhauled

1. Tebow is only good as a "gimmick" or "gadget player" running from a "wildcat" type of attack. That's how he ran up all those stats, records, and wins in college, and that's how he had his limited success in the NFL last year. 2. Tebow is actually not good as a "gimmick" or "gadget" player in the wildcat. 3. Thanks. |

Or at Denver. Many of us called bullshit based on this very observation when the trade went down.

I never liked the wildcat idea and thought it was a farce. I would have preferred Tebow to just hold a clipboard all year, and said as much before the season even started. I hope Tebow goes to a team with a well established qb where he can just sit in the wings and work on the things he needs to work on. With everything else he brings to the table, if he can become and adequate and just an average NFL passer, he'll do amazing things. He needs to get in a situation where he can work on the things he's yet to be able to work on.

Did you even read what you quoted? We're talking about wildcat QB.

Nevermind that this is the NFL and guys that have been in the league for 3 years don't get MORE opportunities to redshirt. Especially guys that don't practice well and will be playing for their third team and 3 years and come with a legion of groupies like Timmy. |
