Default Sanchez Starting Again...

As if we weren't completely sure that Rex doesn't trust Tebow as the QB, upon the news that Sackelroy has concussion-like symptoms, Mark Sanchez will start again.

Well, since Tebow will never start a game for the Jets, hopefully Sanchez redeems himself. I'm not a fan of Sanchez, but it was hard to watch his meltdown.

Good luck Jets... but at this point, I think a lot of Jets fans will be pissed if Sanchez does well because that means they might not go after another QB next year.

I don't see how anyone can claim (with a straight face) that Ryan's treatment of Tebow this year was about football. He's scared to death that Tebow looks decent and wins a game.

There is no explaining this decision. It cannot be explained by the "Tebow is lousy" theory. Turning back to Sanchez is something he would only do if he was dead-set on Tebow never seeing the field.

If he does well it shows us a reason to build around him. We are not drafting or grabbing a FA QB unless he restructures. With that said I hope he shows something in this game. He just has no toughness

Bannon, it definitely seems personal. We saw that this week. Rex Ryan leaked the story on Tim not wanting to play, then he could have easily squashed the rumors but didn't. We wouldn't have found out the truth if Tebow didn't speak up. Anyways, what does it matter? This whole Jets season was a joke.

Yea, that would be crazy to think it had anything to do with Tebow sucking. It must be because Rex is scared to win. It's really the only logical explanation.

I'm really going to miss you guys.

Do we know Rex leaked the story? And are we sure Tebow was telling the truth? It's possible he was spinning it in the light most favorable to him when he did finally speak up. Known to happen on occasion.

No we don't know for sure, so I'll step back a little and say that is what I think happened and it is not confirmed.

Tebow had a higher QB rating than Sanchez

so if they both suck , why not play the one that sucks less?

Tebow also had the highest 4th QBR in the NFL last year, why not try and develop that this year late in games ?
He was the NFL's #1 red zone threat last year (per snaps) so why not try those two things ? Insert tebow later in games like against Houston or let him run it in from the 1st and goal from the 3 like against Patriots (when jets settled for field goal) or leave him in after Keller false starts and then Sanchez throws the int?
or when all was lost against Steelers ,a team that he gave fits to last year or against the chargers a team he played well against last year?

You can say he blows and he sucks and he is not a QB but it wont excuse those shit decisions that cost you game after game after game and you could be 1000% right with what you say but logic flies out the window the moment Sanchez is inserted in the mix because he is so bad. It was never proven on the field that Tebow sucked. 30 runs up the middle decided nothing. His one pass down the field hit a WR in the face mask. He only had 1 series and in the 6 plays he was in that game THREE resulted in first downs.

whatever man, I really hope sanchez lights it up against Buffalo and it firmly plants him as the starter for 2013. I wish Sanchez the best this weekend. I really do.

Ladanian Tomlinson had a better QB rating than Sanchez too. Why not play him instead of Sanchez?

Easy answer, Rex hated Tomlinson... it was personal. He'd rather lose than win with Tomlinson - duh

definetly! he has caught a few people off guard with some hb option passes. So that means it would also work for him as an everydown qb.

It's LT's strength as a runner that makes him so dangerous as a qb.

Guys, the most important thing you're forgetting is how LT's great performance made everyone around him better -- from D lineman to kicker.

You have to hold onto the magical powers card until things get real hairy. It's like using the force.
