delusional is right.

Nah, where I left it was just fine.

If and when you ever decide to discuss Tebow rationally or objectively, let me know. Until then, as I remarked earlier, my responses to you are aimed at those reading through the threads who are objective and rational about the subject.

You are the one in this thread that is neither objective or rational. You said it was impossible that Tim Tebow told Rex he wasn't going to play the wildcat.

That is not objective. You are stating an unknown as fact. It is also not rational. You have absolutely no idea what was said behind closed doors.

Why don't you take your own advice for once.

So the first time Tebow's attitude has ever been question is this week and the first time he comes forward and sets the record straight is this week , rex says it was his decision............... but we have to believe anonymous sources.

yes sounds real objective.

What the hell are you so upset about? I even prompted somebody to ask Omar about it himself.

The "info" was the fact that Omar said it. That is fact. If you have a problem with me saying that then tough.

here hear it for yourself.

I'm glad he responded and so adamantly. I believe him 100%

Now the trick is finding out who leaked this bad info

LOL. I was telling some people that I wouldn't be surprised if tebow was corrupted by New York and did what you mentioned. It would be funny

I'm not sure if you actually believe this. I'm guessing you do. Just consider for a moment that he was raised by parents whom are both missionaries. Doesn't it just make more sense that he was raised to believe in something by parents who devoted their lives to the less fortunate. Maybe you were just trolling, but really I challenge you to use common sense. Nobody is perfect. By all accounts he is a standup guy.

Hmm, so what likely happened here? Odds are Tebow is telling the truth, it fits both Rex and Tebow for it to happened this way:

Tebow bitches about not starting, and just being restricted to running the ball up the middle into the line in wildcat formations. He brings up that he was told he would start if Sanchez was injured or ineffective which is why he came here.

Rex points out that Tebow sucks in practice, and has been outplayed by McElroy. Tebow further argues his case to no avail.

After the meeting Rex says "Ok fuck'em, we'll use Kerley in the wildcat and we will let Kerley throw. Haha, godboy will be so pissed"

Tim sees Kerley practicing wildcat on Wednesday and realizes what Rex is doing to him.

Tim goes to Rex and says he'll do anything for the team on Friday.

Rex says "Ok, whatever Teebs" and proceeds to run Kerley in the wildcat on Sunday to punish Tebow.

That fits both personalities about right, and fits the timeline. The leak that "Tebow quit" was likely part of the front office "Save our asses" campaign that has been going on against Tebow.

Hey, all of these stories keeps the writers from bothering to write about what a failure Sanchez was on the field, and what a horrible failure Tanny was off the field. Never mind how awful Rex was for hanging with Sanchez for so long.

I have been leaning towards them keeping Rex, and maybe even Tanny. I'm getting closer to the "Blow it all up" opinion at this point, because they look so goddamn dysfunctional.

Umm, no, cupcake, I didn't say that it was IMPOSSIBLE. I asked if it was PLAUSIBLE, and then answered the question in the negative, saying no, it wasn't.

Here are the statements:

No, it isn't. Even Ron Jaworksi questioned this when he was on with Adam Schefter and Hoge.

Now, do you really need me to go through and explain to you the difference in meanings between the words PLAUSIBLE and POSSIBLE ? And how saying that something isn't PLAUSIBLE is NOT the same as saying that it is IMPOSSIBLE ?

Ahh, the gratuitous name-calling by a half-wit. Yes, I know the difference between plausible and possible. One speaks to an explanation or a statement, while the other speaks to fact. But where you are clearly lacking is not your choice of adjective (plausible vs. possible), it is the negative adverb that you so carelessly attached to it. There is a monumental difference between saying something is:

Plausible - reasonable or probable.

and,

Remotely plausible - reasonable or probable, to the slightest degree.

Now, let's add your negative to it.

Not remotely plausible - Not reasonable or probable, even to the slightest degree. - Synonyms: Inconceivable, Impossible.

Why did you call out his name calling, and then call him a name?

D9 thinks that starting his arguments out with an attempt to belittle another works (cupcake, princess, etc), when in reality it is just a blatant, and quite honestly, pathetic showing of insecurity and an inability to intelligently argue one's points.

Calling him a half-wit is accurate in this sense, as it literally translates to 'a foolish person'.

Obviously *something* happened/was said on Tuesday that caused Kerley to be given the wildcat snaps at practice. Whether he flat out refused to play it, whether he told Rex he wanted to be a real QB and not run up the middle, which was interpreted as not wanting to play the wildcat, or whether it was some other type of argument, the bottom line is that it led to Kerley coming in for the wildcat situations in the game.

Tebow is young, he's not perfect, and probably did complain about not getting used as a "normal" QB. I believe that - the rest of it will hopefully be a lesson learned for him, in how he words things, and making sure a complaint will be taken on its face, and not be misconstrued.

No harm, no foul, if that's what happened.

Don't you think it's a bit of a slap in the face that they didn't allow Tebow to really pass all year then let Kerley throw a 40 yard pass? Seems like a dick move to me.

I'm surprised Tebow felt the need to address these "rumors".. Most NFL players could/have to not give a shit what the media says about them - worrying about what's said can ruin careers.. He's not cut out for NY.

As for the wildcat issue at hand, It could've been a misunderstanding, sure.
But think about it from Rex's perspective.
-He brings in Tebow to run the wildcat
-Sees everyday in practice that he's a terrible regular QB and knows that his role on the team is exclusively as a wildcat QB.

Then Tebow expresses his frustration about his role, being passed up, and the wildcat offense. Isn't he essentially opting out of the wildcat, even if its not his intention?? No wonder Rex was mad and it spread that he opted out.

It's like when I was in high school many years ago and I worked as a Lot Attendant at a Car Dealership. I loved the detailing and the parking of the cars. I hated brushing the snow off of them during the winter though.

You think If I went to my boss and said "I just want to be a regular detailer and lot attendant, I'm frustrated with my role in snow removal" That he would’ve been okay with that? Hell No, if he didn’t fire me on the spot he’d certainly tell everyone that I refused to remove snow…

Either way though, I'm glad it happened because Jeremy Kerley is much better at running the wildcat than Tebow anyway... too bad it didnt happen sooner!
