This. Hate seeing him out there doing that every week.

Yeah, but he's one of the few actual football players the Jets have.

FWIW, from Kriastian Dyer via twitter:

Malone on who Tebow was supposed to get on blocked punt: "Whoever comes free but there were three guys who came free."

No, Tebow did not miss the block. He blocked the first guy through that would have blocked the punt even sooner. If he fucked up or not regarding calling the protection would be interesting to know.

Sanchez is a steaming piece of shit QB and a completely worthless sack of dog shit as a leader and/or football player.
At least be factually correct. The girl is 17 I believe and he would text after the game. During the game he would be eating a hot dog

Kind of a microcosm of the whole goddamn season, no?

It was a stunt, It was one of the guards or Tebow who missed the tackle.

And what a stunt it was..... to shock them into stopping by failing to come around for the block.

Well since the Dolphins were on a bye, I knew they were going to cook something up on ST.

Problem is, there were people coming free that needed attention -- the PP's got to pick up anybody getting through. Can't hold back and think "there might be a stunt coming" if there's another guy shooting straight through.

I'm sure Westhoff will talk about it during his press conference this week. My guess is that it was Tebow's guy, but that's just a guess.

I see him as more of a point guard, but he has to learn how to pass first

You could very well be right, the question the becomes who was supposed to have #28, because that is who Tebow ended up blocking. From what Malone said it sound like it was a comedy of errors

Agreed, the protection should of sled, but looking at it was an exotic stunt.

He is there to call the protect coverage. He failed. That was on Tebow.

Should he be in that role? That may be another story, but the fact is that much lesser players fill that role every week for every team and punt blocks are rare.

Tebow can't even call protection for a punt team. Why would anyone think he can do it for an offense? And by that, i mean for more that one drive a game?
More tha 1 drive a game ? I have not seen him get a drive yet

That's right on the money. Most backup QBs excel at every position on the team. Quite a few have worked their way up from the mail room to the QB position.
