Last year in the last game of the year Sanchez zinged two throws in on that last drive once Holmes had been benched. What Sanchez could not do for the life of him was figure out what Brian Schottenheimer wanted done in what was clearly one of the most complex offensive schemes in the NFL when the Jets were not in G&P mode from 2009 to 2011. Kellen Clemens couldn't figure it out either. Chad just started dumping the ball off on every play because that was what he knew he could do well in the system. Unfortunately the Jets, having gotten rid of the mutant are now going to create a new mutant, with G&P competing with wildcat and all the players needing to know both. It's like the worst possible decision the Jets could have made on the offensive side after all the players scratching their heads on offense the last couple of seasons. Let's just make two playbooks and see if the guys who couldn't get one down do better with two. |

wildcat is very easy to run it's not a whole new playbook
it's a package like goal line/short yardage or the 2 minute offense |
