Fuck Routt . Although Wilson wouldn't be a terrible safety, hes not ideal in size by any means though.
So you're on board with ditching Jim Leonhard?

What If we move Cro to FS keep KW as the Slot and pickup Routte for the #2. Jimmy can still be the run stuffer he is with Cro being the cover guy, without so much responsibility maybe he could be free to make some more big plays. Handles our need for safety and we can focus on other needs in the draft.

I don't think Cro would be a bad safety at all. He's a ball hawk and he has good recovery speed. Playing safety might dumb down some of his coverage technique issues. We would just need to get a quality safety to pair with him.

I also like the idea of cro at safety he has the tangibles, only thing is when he is required to make a big hit tackle he seems too pussy out.

Wilson would play FS and Jimmy would play SS but this is if we're desperate.

I dont necessarily want him back.

Stop with the corner fetish already and sell yourself on a legit DL pass rusher, one who's up front and in his face.

The whole defensive world changes when you do.

why do people on this thread tend to think that a switch from safety to corner is such an easy transition?

The only person I can think of off the top of my head who accomplished this was Carnell Lake in 1995 after the Steelers lost Rod Woodson.

He is a restricted free agent, but Lardarius Webb would be a better signing.

In Madden when you switch a CB to S their OVR goes up 5 points

To view links in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. Your post count is 0 momentarily.

This would be more to our liking, Kamerion Wimbley OLB for the Raiders

Switch Cro to safety then we can have the highest paid safety in the nfl with no safety experience ! And he cant tackle, make it happen Tanny!

This.

I would much rather have a situation where opposing QBs have trouble getting rid of the ball, rather than us having to have some hof pass coverage because we cant get to the qb. Qbs like brady dont seem to give a shit who you have covering, especially when they have 10 seconds every time.
