I'd rather not see my team get beat by 20-30 points on Wild Card weekend because other teams collapsed and they beat a handful of other shit teams.

While I tend to agree that the Jets won't make the playoffs, it is impossible to say with such definite declarations that "this team will beat that team" and so on.
Didn't New England lose at home to Arizona this season?

Upsets happen almost every week in the NFL. And who says that if the Jets get in that they would lose by 30 points on WC weekend? The got smacked down 2 years ago against the Pats but then beat them in the playoffs -- after going on the road to beat Peyton Manning.
