So you're saying the sample size is too small to draw any conclusions?

I’m not saying anything other than he has done what tucker has done once. Everyone is free to take that as they may.

I voted good money but nothing crazy. He was great last season, but not very good in 2017.

He was very good all around in 2018 but I didn't nickname him Shortshanks for nothing.

Maybe you go year by year or a 2 year deal but considering how many 50 plus yarders he hit and his touchback ratio, this is one dude you really shouldn’t let get away.

I voted 2-4 range, most likely closer to 4. The top kicker last year (Gostkowski) made 4.3 and I would have no problem giving him that type of money after last seasons play, but not too much up front or guaranteed.

he can always make more money by starring in a few more movies during the offseason.
friday the 13th can run forever if they get decent plots.....

Rather have him resigned and be done with it. Either it happens from the jump or not at all.

We should never consider giving up pro bowl quality talent.

Kickers are a quirky bunch.... the dude was trash at JAX, and great with the JETS. The majority get bounced around sans the few solid guys that get locked down.

    Noooooooooooooooo!!!

    Fuckin Mac (I kid)...
But seriously this sucks. We finally have talent I don’t want to lose games on missed PATs.
I liked the kickoff touchbacks too.

My guess is he was asking for more than Jets wanted to give, so probably fair on both sides. Wish him well, and hope Mac can replace him.

Oh well.. Same old Macc.. Now lets see him find another Pro Bowl kicker while he's looking for a Pro Bowl Center and Wideout.. My guess is that he's gonna come up short.... again.

Can’t wait to be screaming at the TV because we missed a field goal to lose the game.

I don't understand this one. I know kickers can often be fools gold and can be swapped in and out pretty easily, but why not keep the guy that made the pro bowl? Roberts should also be re-signed, but I feel like they will let him walk as well.

ST was the one bright spot of last year, and now they are going to have to shuffle it up again and hope to get similar production.
