Like it or not , fantasy football is major factor in fan recognition of players now. The fact that DraftKings increased his value so much is a good barometer of how much he was getting noticed by non jet fans. Not that I was disagreeing with you about the flying under the radar as much as showing how strong he finished the season.
I'm an avid fantasy football player. But his DK cap price, late in a season, in which there were only 3 useable TE's has nothing to do with his getting credit as an emerging TE. Vance McDonald was also a pretty solid fantasy TE this year, which highlights not only how pathetic the position was, but also how fantasy doesn't consider these factors.
Vance had some good games but there were games he completely disappeared. Herndon was fantasy relevant for most games.
