Two team with huge nationa following in Cowboys and Steelers plus the hated Giants and Pats. Throw in the improved Browns with Baker Mayfield, it looks like a good set of home games. Question for Season Ticket Holders. If I get just 1 season ticket, will I still get parking from Jets?
Don't worry donkey. Even if it isn't a home game it will be somewhere close to NY. We are playing Eagles, Ravens and Redskins on the road this year. Boston is also 4 hour drive. So you can still catch a Jets game even if it isn't a home game.
It’s a good year for the Jets schedule wise . Not a lot of mileage - longest road trip is to Miami. That being said I wonder if Amtrak is getting any of their business this year . Philadelphia ? Baltimore? DC ? ........might be cheaper - fits Woody perfectly lol.
The one thing that will suck about this home schedule is the amount of opposing fans that will be at these games especially the Giants, Steelers, and Cowboys.
No offense but Jets don't have a home stadium, they always play on the road, the supposed home game are filled with opposing .
I am thinking of getting 2 season tickets and selling 4 games to pay for the other 4. Sell the Steelers, Raiders, Cowboys and Pats and not get parking passes. I will just pay the 40 cash when I go.
Yeah right. Notice I didn’t list the Giant game as one I am selling. All the others will be more opponent fans then us
I was thinking the same thing. The Cowboys and Steelers games will be embarrassing for our organization. Easily those games will be 50/50 if not worse.
Coming off a miserable season at least all of our home games should be Sunday at 1:00 with maybe a 4:00 thrown in. I can't imagine we get any primetime games which is fine with me as I prefer Sunday at 1:00
Every team MUST have 1 primetime game. I suspect it will be on the road and in some ridiculous circumstances like at the Pats on Thursday, after their bye week. I could also see it being the Bills again earlier in the season. The Josh Allen vs. Sam Darnold "rivalry" the league is surely looking to ride for the next decade would get a spotlight and it gets two less appealing teams out of the way without using a Sunday or Monday game.
Does that rule about every team getting one primetime game still apply? I remember a few years ago it did as the Thursday night games usually got the teams that weren't good enough for SNF (which is the top primetime game) and even MNF. But now Thursday games are on Fox and last year they seemed to put on good matchups. As of now I would rank primetime games as 1. SNF 2. TNF. 3. MNF
I have not heard anything else about the "everyone goes prime time" being changed. So i assume it still applies. None the less, i see the league putting the Jets in the smallest spotlight they can until the team improves.
Out of the six people in my nuclear family... 3 (sister/brother/Mother) had Oct. 20th as their birthday. Easy for me to remember.
