As far as Rodgers is concerned it's common knowledge that he's already interviewed with other teams like the Giants and being referred to as the Jets former DC in some of those articles. So obviously he's no longer with the Jets, or in the Jets future plans. Regarding the team website not being updated that doesn't surprise me.

Trying to understand why Kubiak would come here with Gase already in place as the HC/OC. With Gase calling the plays, what does the OC do? Chill up in the booth and relay formations and trends? Just asking the question..

They help gameplan and maybe make suggestions in-game based off what they see in the box, and that’s something Kubiak will probably pass on.

Luckily we have ESPN’s Worst Playcaller of 2017, Dowell Loggains set to join the staff and give his input.

Forget about "common knowledge," the fact is that I responded to a post that falsely claimed a new coaching staff is in place. That is totally untrue. Bates and Rodgers are still the coordinators for the Jets. That may very well change, but as of now, they are the guys and no coaching staff hires except Gase have been announced. Feel free to have your own opinion, but not your own facts.

He signed with the Vikes as OC. Time to move this to NFL Forum

Given how much Elway loved him I'm surprised that the two of them turned away from each other so quickly. Mike Zimmer better watch his back - if Cousins plays well but the team doesn't win he might find himself out of work by October.
