Moat Mountain Czech Pilsner after a few hours on the slopes.

    Scott Dierking sleeps soundly tonight.

My go to beer when I was in the States was Fat Tire Amber Ale, and my go to here in NZ/AUS is Little Creatures Pale Ale. They're both really easy to drink, and tasty. The Nitro Porter game in the States is really on point too.

The best beer I feel like I've ever had was somewhere in the wops of Washington State. This random microbrewery / bar had a Belgian Dark Chocolate Cake Porter on tap, and it literally tasted like I was drinking a chocolate cake. That was bliss.

Haze (or Very Hazy), Julius, King Julius... Can we be friends?

Just missing Alter Ego and Doppelganger.

I would say my favorite beer, that you can buy in stores, would be Lawson Sip of Sunshine. Treehouse, those are pretty much all bangers. I will give Foam a shout-out for really good sours.

Reading back through this after it got bumped today, I see that I never came back to post in it after being in Porto in 2019. I did have dinner at Camafeu, and the octopus was out of this world, so thanks for the tip almost five years ago!

My buddy's son lives in Boston and he hooks us up with Treehouse beers when he travels back home. It's harder for me because I live in Delaware now but I was up in NY recently. Definitely try the King Sue DIPA, It's right up there with the King Julius.

    Holy late response, Batman!

I have heard the restaurant is now shut, sadly. But glad you enjoyed the octopus.:)

    2) Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale
    3) Heineken
    4) Harp

Yuengling Lager from draft or the can, not the bottle.

Bud Light for light shitty beer in the summer or Corona. Landshark if you're fancy.

Warsteiner, good german pilsner (i think), cool name.

A man after my own heart. Might be a bit passe nowadays, but love me a hazy IPA. I have some Industrial Arts in my fridge right now (Wrench), but my go-to lately is Threes Brewing, particularly their Logical Conclusion. So smooth.

Any group of people will get something right, and hipsters nailed the love for IPA.

Sorry but the opinion of anyone who lists Bud Light, LANDSHARK, and Corona as 3 favs gets disqualified. It's like listing McDonalds as one of your favorite restaurants....
