If the Jets trade down, it needs to be for more picks. Fournette is good, but equally good RBs will be available in FA.

I wanted Fournette for the Jets when I realized they weren't going to draft a QB, thinking that he would make things easier for Petty or Hack, but he hasn't produced the way I thought he would. How much is due to him, and how much due to the CS, game planning, player around him I don't know, but he's already shown a tendency towards injury, not surprising given his style of running. I wouldn't give up any assets for him - there are better, and/or cheaper options available, not to mention Bell.

Interesting here is Fournette getting his guarantees voided, they may just release him. Depending on how bad his rep has taken a hit here, he could come cheap as a FA... A few articles say they may include him in a trade to get a QB. I mean if the Jets could get 2-3 picks plus Fournette, maybe you listen. His value couldn't be lower though at this point.
Fournette would be a great RB for the Jets and would be a difference maker. I am just not sure what the Jets would plan to do for the other 12 games that Fournette is out for.

Lol no. They may trade up to grab a QB in the draft. So they trade up to 3 for example to draft say Haskins...Jets get their first rounder, two 2nd's and Fournette, just as an idea.
