Looking forward to the Colts/Titans as that is the best game of week 17. Winner gets in and the loser goes home.
This week has many implications for both the Jets draft chances and playoff positioning. Hopefully 3 screens is enough to play all of the important ones.
Pretty interesting game. Luck has been kinda out of the national audience scene for a couple years now. This is the return of Luck in a big spot, if the Colts win it could set up a game between them and the Texans who they beat in Houston recently. In a perfect world I would like to see Indy in Kansas City in a few weeks.
I wonder if Mariota is going to play? If Gabbert plays for the Titans then they are in trouble. I think the Colts will win anyway. They have been playing very well even though they struggled to beat the Giants. Reich has done an excellent job coaching that team.
Ha. Ha. We finally moved to a week 16 final, so I'm all good this week. Looking forward to all the games where I don't have to worry about fantasy. Davante Adams almost killed me last week.
I’ll be rooting for a tie, as it would be the most hilarious scene in NFL history 2 division rivals all hyped up to play an elimination game in primetime; winner makes the playoffs and loser goes home. The entire game is filled with intensity, hard hits and hatred. Then the final whistle blows and no one won the game. Some random ass team from another division (Steelers) stole the playoff spot in the most unlikely scenario. The atmosphere after a tie is always strange, but this would be next level.
Teddy to start for the Saints this weekend. Hope he plays well. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/12/28/teddy-bridgewater-will-start-for-saints-on-sunday/
If Brees doesn't play it will be the first time since 2005 that he didn't pass for at least 4000 yards (he's 8 yards short right now). Jets have a mild rooting interest in Carolina, since a win for them could help in getting the #4 pick rather than the #5 pick if the Jets beat the Pats and the Lions lose to the Packers. I don't have any feelings one way or the other regarding Bridgewater.
You're showing that you think the Jets are going to lose. Oh ye of little faith! As noted above, if the Jets win by far the most important other game is Houston winning. Besides that, if the Jets win the Giants winning actually hurts the Jets in a possible SOS tiebreaker with Detroit. Houston, Chargers, Ravens, Bucs, and Panthers winning can only help the Jets (or make no difference). Giants-Cowboys depends on whether they win (Cowboys better) or lose (Giants better).
Texans totally screwed when their punt returner was hit while he was fair catching the ball and muffs it and inexplicably the penalty flag is picked up. Bortles is Bortles, so the Jags only get 3 on the 1st and goal.
