Strong possibility they do, they've done it before. One as a home game, one as the road team.

Yeah, that's correct.... usually this time of year. FL-GA game at the stadium, then the Jacksonville / Duval fair across the street

yes, it is a complete embarrassment to be an NFL fan and enjoying the opportunity to see a live game even if it is not a team you follow - how dare they!

I don’t care who we play I’m in.

Donkey can set us up with another great pub crawl!

And if it is truly next year we should have some playas too!!!

    If it's on, it's on.

And it'll be better than Thursday Night Football, too.

It is called football as we kick it with our fucking feet btw, as for the bolded part of your post I agree fully, if it was a premier league football team or more to the point Manchester City playing a home game in the US I would be super pissed off and believe you and me the fuckers in charge would love it to happen and the fact we own NYC makes it more likely in the future, football is mainly still a working mans game but the players and owners have long since outpriced the game as it used to be and that is the way pro sport is going, I am also glad the Jags owner Khan looks like he is now not getting our national stadia, it would have been an utter disgrace to sell it off.

As for the rest of your post, it is very condescending, it is true that some or most maybe don't know the true intricacies of the plays but when you don't grow up with a sport or the fact you have an anal stat man explaining every single play a thousand times on slow-mo since you were young enough to watch the game, were as we got an hours highlight package for all the games played, so quite understandable that all we saw were sacks and touchdowns etc but if you going to go down that road of condescension at least spell embarrassment correctly, how embarrassing for you ;)

Of course it's called football, as all variants across the globe are, because you play it on foot with a ball, not because you kick it with your feet. Otherwise it would be called feet ball.

we don't call it soccer now but I know we originally did when they split it from rugbyfootball now just rugby union or league, way back in the mists of time, but you still only kick it with a single foot at any one time, unless you are that Columbian keeper and his scorpion kick trick lol

Interestingly I just found this while trying to look for a definitive answer to football ie kick it with your foot or because you are on foot etc

    https://www.ganggreennation.com/2013/7/11/4514390/why-do-they-call-it-football

"Why do they call it football? First of all, actual football (which is now referred to as soccer), was used before the NFL came along. Second of all, they actually have a reason to call it football, because they use their feet to play."

I thought it was our TGG site at first but it wasn't, damn lol

Google proves to be a huge information let down as per usual, unless you are in a film and need the house plans for a building in 6 seconds it never works as you want imo :)

Not much of a stretch prediction considering “Woody the fuck” is the embassador to the UK.

As long as it’s not a home game I’m cool.

The home teams have been announced, we're not one of them.

We don't play any of the announced teams next season so it would have to be the Jags with the same finish in the AFC south for the Jets to play in London. As long as we don't Pass the Bills for last place in the AFC east.

The Raiders are a possibility, but perhaps they're more likely to play in Mexico. I agree last place is needed, though. What a bloody depressing way to think...

Hope it happens. It’ll give me an excuse to finally go to London.

I saw something earlier this week that suggested the Jets were asked to give up a home game to play in London and declined. I'll have to see if I can find it again. This could have been where the rumour started.
