I also remember a play sometime early in the game when Williams was in pursuit and Allen just blew right past him for a big run.

First thing I thought of was the thread :)

Bad angle of the play, Anderson was a good 2-3 yards closer to Allen, Leo wasnt close to catching dude. My concern is Williamson who essentially was a QB spy...he wasn't close neither. Btw Leo had the 2nd best grade on the defense Sunday behind Trumaine

    Anderson is a overachiever.

    Williams is a underachiever.

Williams gives that 'effort' in front of thousands of fans in the stadium/millions watching on tv what kind of effort you think he's giving in the offseason when no one is watching?

    I hate players like this.

Yet the picture painted by the media and Jets is Leonard Williams the good guy.

Was that the play Allen gave our Leo a stiff arm worthy of Walter Payton?

Allen tried that again later in the game on another Jets defender but he wasn't as successful.

    MY BUTT!!!!

I kept hearing one of the anouncers working the game on Sunday say what a good game Leonard Williams was having. Between the Allen stiff arm and him seemingly pulling up on the play that was posted (I noticed it during the game) I kept wondering what game the guy was watching.

It must've been some more of that hidden production BS that only true football insiders can discern. LOL

Edit: I forgot to mention the roughing the passer penalty he drew. Wonderful game played by Leonard Wiliams. One of his best if you take what the media says as gospel.

You are to Leonard Williams what Solid Gold Bowles is to Baker Mayfield.

No more plodding DT's masquerading as pass rushers. Jets FO has to put an end to that annoyingly dumb practice. Either get speedy edge rushers who can handle big OL or go after a DeMarcus Lawrence who can anchor entire D Line on his own.

Looking at the replay, William's "jogs" for about 8 or 9 steps (not 2-3 steps at the end of the play). If he had given maximum effort there is a very good chance he would have been able to stop Allen IMHO. In any event, wouldn't you want to see him bust his butt considering he will be making $14M next year?

If he isn’t dogging it, Allen is for sure stopped at the 3 yard line.

That roughing penalty was total BS. I was at the game and the Bills fans were laughing it was so bad.

    Per PFF, Haters will weep

Leonard Williams, while not managing to get a sack, was one of the better players on the Jets’ defense. He prevented the Texans’ ground from getting anything going throughout the contest. When a play was needed to be made against the run, Williams was often the man getting it done.
