Happy Thanksgiving, fellow jet fans! We have endured much together! Living in the midwest all my life, I am thankful the jets won the Super Bowl in 1969. Over 90% of the fans in my area are Minnesota Viking fans, and so when they give me grief about the jets, I can remind them that MY team has won more Super Bowls than the Vikes (Vikings have been to the big dance four times and lost all four)!
I am thankful for Darnold on offense and Adams on defense. Maybe throw a few honorable mentions around, but thats about it.
I am thankful for everything in my life: family, job, career ,health, cooking up great meals except enduring 50 years as a Jet fan lol That said what a great board TGG is!! Would have lost it long ago without a Forum to vent..we all may not agree with each other but united on the Team Happy and enjoyable Thanksgiving to everyone here and especially the guys I trade likes with : NC, Contrails Boozer Tomdeb Kurt CbG Flajet Sojaz Jets Nation06 Ralebird phubadam Dark Night CMan60 God Bless and keep the Faith (If you can ahahaha)
I'm grateful that I'm not suffering alone because the TGG faithful and their views on our team and the world around us make me smile (and on more than one occasion laugh out loud in public places). Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Happy Thanksgiving 012!! Except for me, you certainly identify a star-studded group of analytical jets fan on this forum, a list on which I would put you and 94 Abraham, too.
I am pretty happy with the potential of the Jets. We have a young FQB with a lot of upside. We have some very good young talent on the defensive side of the ball. We are edge rusher from having a long term dominant defense. Things that have made me very happy this year besides Darnold are: 1. Jamaal Adams 2. Darron Lee I thought he was going to be gone after this year. Quite a pleasant surprise. 3. Avery Williamson. I was scared to see Davis leave but Williamson has been an upgrade. 4. Quincy coming back healthy. He should be poised to have a big year next year with a full off season. 5. Clairborne 6.Buster Skrines people are going to hate this but I think he is pretty good and will be missed. Good chance he is resigned. 7. Shell He has stepped in run blocking. The zone scheme seems to work well for him. 8. Herndon He has the makings of an actual productive TE and he can block. 9. Our 2019 1st rd pick. I am somewhat amazed we traded up for our FQB and we still have this pick which is looking a lot like a top 5 pick. Next year with Levian Bell, the beginning of rebuilding the OL, Herndon in year 2, one FA WR (Golden Tate) and a big jump from Darnold and we could be in for 15 years of winning Jets football. I am pretty happy where this team is now compared to two years ago. Essentially we are in the position of last years Chicago Bears but with a QB with greater upside. This is the most optimistic I have been for our future since we beat the Dolphins to open the 1978 season.
Hey..TY ..made my day! Negatives or positives I always consider the source ...and you are a good oneTomd
Yesterday I was kind of busy but today I have found this thread and will be happy to state that I am quite thankful that the NFL has not yet extended the regular season beyond sixteen games.
I am thankful that I have my Sunday’s back as there is no point in watching this shit show especially if Sam is not playing
