Yes I hated revenue Revis, I even booed him in his last game as a jet. His biggest accomplishment is winning a title for our hated rival and of course the jets and the fans welcomed him back with open arms because its what loser teams do. His demands were always ridiculous and he truly paved the way for this secure the bag, gotta get mine attitude that is plaguing the league.
I got a good look at the Rams last year when they smoked the Giants at Metlife. Still didn't hear about this guy. They've been one of the higher profile teams this year so I've watched them play a few times. Brandon Cooks is a downgrade from Sammy Watkins IMO. With the Jets he's sucked. So I'm making my judgement on him based on what I'm seeing and not seeing from him here. I couldn't care less what he did for the Rams.
I don't let the media do my thinking for me or the majority opinion influence how I feel. I'll consider what's being said then wait to see for myself then come to a conclusion. And you're 100% right if MacCagnan breaks the bank for a bunch of non-Pro Bowl players on top of what he's already wasted on Trumaine Johnson there will/should be lotsa unhappy Jets fans. So you don't really watch football other than the Jets and you admittedly get your news from ProFootballTalk and ProFootballTalk ranked him as a Top 10 free agent and the top CB free agent for 2018. Yet you still want to whine about the signing. Sounds right.
In that Ram game last year, Trumaine Johnson was 4th in tackles on the Rams against the Giant with 6 tackles and 5 solo tackles with a pass defensed. But you didn't notice that?
What rep? I never heard of this guy before the Jets broke the bank on him. I suspect I wasn't alone. Trumaine Johson wasn't/isn't a household name.
