Is Sam currently better than McCown and should we sit him until the bye?

Yes, McCown is (at this point in his career) 'better' than Darnold. Hopefully that will change after a year or 2 under Darnold's belt. With that being said, we are setting up for the future....play Darnold, let him make mistakes and look forward to kicking ass in 2021.

There's no doubt at all that McCown is a better QB presently than Darnold.

We are losing games primarily based on rookie growing pains. It's painful.

Yes, we should play McCown because winning a few more meaningless games that will give us worse draft position is the most important consideration for this franchise right now.o_O

Sam, is currently one of the worst QBs in the league. He is completely confused out there. The swiss cheese Fins D made him look helpless.

But the WR group has been terrible and shows no heart

Miami's defense is actually pretty good.

I hope you’re joking. They are one of the worst in the league. 29th in yards allowed and 28th in points allowed. They’re giving up an average of 27.4 points per game (35 over the last 3 weeks). And the Jets couldn’t score more than 6...

They are actually pretty awful. Near the bottom of the league in most stats.

The problem with the Jets is that their ownership knows little or nothing about the game. Therefore, they hire people who are just as clueless and off we go. The Jets should move to a place where they can have their own stadium. Any room in Flushing for a football stadium next to CitiField? Fuck Jersey already; Jets ain't done shit since they moved into that swampy shithole.

And yet, this is exactly what the Jets signed up for by deciding to start him from Day 1. If the Jets were really committed to maxing out W's this year they probably would have kept and started Bridgewater.

Maybe Woody should stop taking advice from guys like Charlie Casserly. That would be a good start.
