I listened to the entire spot. There was nothing that remotely indicated that the players were unprepared by the coaching staff for what Chicago was doing. Since the thread starter was guessing about Adam's interpretation the thread could have just as easily said Adams on weekly radio spot, probably for pay, indicates Jets need better players in discussion of trade deadline.
Not verbatim? How about he didn't say it at all but you think the team was unprepared. It's okay to post your opinion without backing it up with substance. We're all Jets fans. If we have earned anything by rooting for this dog-shit team, it's we have a right to unmercifully give it back to them. Facts, we don't need no stinking facts.
They are gassed out in the second half as they are never given time to bloody recover due to all the 3 and outs we manage, they played really well for three quarters in several games this season, think against Miami you can lay the blame on the CS for playing a prevent defence and it proving anything but prevent but against the vikes and bears they played hard and kept us in the game for a lot longer than the offence deserved.
He gave us alternative facts. Stats...facts...who cares what is real. Each of us exists in our own reality. Some of those reality's just happen to be whack. "We just didn't come ready to play," Adams said. "We got punched in the mouth. It's as simple as that. There's really nothing else to say. Hats off to Chicago. They were a helluva a football team. We've got to find a way to win ballgames. "As a defense, we've got to be better. We've got to stop the run. That's our emphasis going into next week -- being better at the run and being better at the point of attack." - Jamal "Snitch" Adams
Dear Jamal: I am unprepared to watch the game on Sunday. What am I saying. I am prepared for a debacle.
It’s honestly pretty ridiculous that someone can just completely make up a thread title and people will react to it in outrage as if it was gospel.
Regardless of what Adams said or didnt say, Todd Bowles is not a good coach and anyone with half a brain already knows that. Even with better talent, and a more seasoned Darnold, Bowles is not the guy who will take this team to the next level. Say what you want about Rex, but no chance in hell Bowles ever goes into Indy, NE, etc and wins playoff games on the road. For Christ’s sake this guy cant win in Cleveland. What worries me even more now is the typical victim mentality on display now by some media outlets in response to Hue Jackson being fired, and how it could potentially influence the Johnson’s to retain this useless waste. Say what you want about our offense and having no QB, no weapons etc..but remember that DEFENSE was Bowles’s calling card. And the majority of our FA $ and premium draft picks have been used on that side of the ball, and the defense is by and large a dumpster fire. Let that sink in a bit and then try and defend this prick.
He's always running off at the mouth. Never points any blame at himself in this whole mess. If he thought they were unprepared during the week leading up to the game, maybe at that time he should bring that up to the coaches and ask for some more film breakdown. But he doesn't come out after 3 days and bring ing it up seem cowardice.
What is he meant to say "no, fuck you and your interview" Yeah I'll do the interviews this week boss... So Jamal what went wrong "No comment" Er the Bears gashed you with the run did they not? "No comment" Er ERM you are willing to answers some questions aren't you? "Yeah, man, I love interacting with the media" Great, so was it a lack of preparedness that cost you the W? "No comment" Fuck this get off my show. "Cya next week guys"
