Corollary: If we beat the Vikings I think we need to immediately call the Cardinals and trade for Chandler Jones. Not sure what a corollary is, I’m not an High School English teacher but I think you get my meaning.
String Theory? Perhaps a worm hole will get the Jets into the playoffs just like it will get us into a new universe when our universe dies? Now I am no physicist myself, but I hope you all realize this is theory not fact. As a fan of the Jets I hope their playoff potential is much better than the hopes of string theory. Call me a simpleton, but for the Jets to be a playoff team and a winning team is a much easier problem then trying to understand the universe. I believe Newton's laws of force and motion will better explain the problem of the Jets becoming a winning playoff team. In the meantime, we can always do some good cannabis to get a better appreciation of the big bang theory and how our universe is still expanding. Or by Quantum Physics maybe the Jets can find a means of Quantum tunneling to get them pass through the wall of success. Ok this may require some hallucinogens to understand and realize this. Go jets!
Per NFLN, 49% of 4-3 teams make the playoffs, compared to 17.5% of 3-4 teams. Huge game. Unfortunate that we’re so banged up. Really hope we can pull it off.
While I can understand the theory I just don’t see the 2018 Jets as a playoff team. Not enough depth for one thing and that may play huge tomorrow . It’s a winnable game with a healthy roster . That being said I don’t think a loss necessarily ends the season either ......I have to agree with Warrior- just enjoy the ride ...
The Dolphins, with Osweiller at QB beat the Bears and Minny lost to the Bills. Its not going to be easy but wouldnt be shocked if we stole one
The Vikings are very good. A win against a team like that means we can beat any team on our best day. Without proving that we can do so consistently we could be one and done if we are lucky enough to make the playoffs to begin with. Just be happy if a few more young players start to emerge from the shadows with realized potential. This is not our year yet.
Were just not that good a team. We have some pieces, but our offense minus Darnold and few honorable mentions is pretty bad. We need to spend money and draft picks there. I expect us to lose to the Bears too, but hopefully pick up some wins as the only teams that look scary after that is the Pats twice and Green Bay. I thought 7-9 this year and its looking like thats where we are going to end up.
