Its obviously debatable, we are debating it. Stewart showed nothing in his time here to make a case for retaining him. Peake at least plays special teams, you say poorly but the staff keeps him around for it year after year, apparently they see something you do not. He resigned with the Jets PS and got injured. The pick was a complete miss but you don't waster a roster spot on a guy that provides nothing for any of the three facets of the game. That is terrible roster management. Hansen could not stick with the Pats and was recently released from the Titans PS. Your advocating for two guys that can't stay on an NFL roster even in the capacity as a special teams gunner let alone a useful offensive player.
I’d argue that drafting receivers that you feel you need to cut after 1 year is the reason this team has no depth. Pick better players and we won’t have this problem.
I'd argue you haven't seen enough of this kid play because Stewart can be a stud and the kid can ball. You don't cut kids like this in the first 3 seasons. The Sunday talent evaluators on this board can say what they want but you don't cut kids like this after one season.
He's such a stud that he was waived, went unclaimed, then waived from the practice squad with an injury that wasn't considered serious and is now a free agent. Apparently you do cut kids like this after one season.
All receivers complain about not getting thrown to. Some are just more vocal about it. In fact, that's the kind of receiver I'd want. Mathews has experience which is what Darnold needs right now.
Big Shout Out to Corey Feldman Stone Hands and Clay Matthews step brother Rishard...welcome scrub contingency plan B!
