Your friend's name is Nigel? That is so British, haha. Have a great time, even though the Jets may stick a dagger in your heart.
Donkey enjoy your trip and your stay, there are lots of Chinese places over there but if you want some really good Italian food go to Forlini's its on the corner of Baxter street and Canal street and you can thank me later lol. Its not expensive and excellent we have been going there for over 20 years
You don’t visit McSorleys for the beer alone. You go BECAUSE there are two choices: light or dark. And you go for the hot mustard. And the fact that women were not allowed in until ‘72. And most of all, it borders on disgusting.
Quick question. I assume we can still get the train from Penn (via SEC) to the stadium. The mta website is being less than helpful.
Donkey. Train from Penn Station to Metlife is run by NJ Transit. NJ stands for New Jersey. Go to following website. - https://m.njtransit.com/mo/mo_servlet.srv?hdnPageAction=TrainSchedulesTo Enter New York Penn Station as your origin and select Meadowlands Sports Complex as your destination and pick the date as 10/21/2018 It will give you departure times. Please note this isn't a Direct line. You will have to make a train change at Seacaucus Junction. Just follow people with Jet/Viking jerseys and they will lead you to train from Seacaucus to Meadownlands. Train drops you right next to Metlife.

Donkey - if you are staying in lower Manhattan (China Town) perhaps the PATH train to Hoboken NJ is also an option for you. Hoboken NJ is a terminus for NJT Rail. The PATH train is similar to a subway train that will bring you under the Hudson River to Hoboken NJ. From Hoboken, the NJT trains all (I believe) make their first stop in Secaucus NJ - where you would change trains for the one to MetLife. It'd be one additional train for you, but could be more convenient. Not sure. I'd be interested to know if anyone here travels to games this way who could give an opinion. Might be "six of one, half-dozen of the other"
Careful. NJ Transit is doing their annual "Buy a ticket to Suffern and win a Vikings jersey" promotion this weekend.
