This will go under the radar of 90% of the casual fans, but this is really exciting. We just got our best RB back. (all do respect to BP, love)

He could be our best RB, but I need to see it first. They talked him up a lot in preseason, but they talk everyone up in preseason. I think more than anything an extra pair of fresh legs will help the run game a lot. He was capable at catching the ball too, which we need since half of our receivers are injured.

Back up punt returner . Which takes cannon completely out of the equation. Thankfully

He was a great pickup for a 6th rd pick, but personally I think he's a bit overrated around here

Every back-up, recently cut player, is way over rated around here.

  8. I just like him bringing a pretty drastic change of pace to Powell & Crowell.Crowell more cut n go while Powell more Shifty they are both guys who run with power. Mcguire is more elusive & finesse..I think it will really help the running game stay fresh & multi dimensional

How do you even rate a guy that never plays?

Glad he's coming back. But we have a nice groove and rotation going at RB at this point. To me he's more depth than anything else. Which is a good thing.

He had at least two good runs last year. What are you talking about? There was that one, then the other one.

This is TGG, free agents are all over paid ,1st - 4th round picks are immediate busts and 5th thru udfa are destined for canton. Regardless of what actually happened on the field.

He just has something that neither Powell nor Crowell has, which is the stop-foot go-foot. Meaning he can change directions laterally by putting his foot in the ground and pushing off of it without loosing speed or balance.

Powell for all that he brings to the table just isn't the athlete to do this, and Crowell AKA Mr. Banana-Peel Foot is far from elusive or able to change direction at full speed. You can run the whole playbook with McGuire, where you can't with Crowell and you're limited with Powell.

I didn't know people were rating McGuire highly honestly, I haven't heard fans or the media even really talk about him all year.

I almost forgot about him! Great news. Calling him their best RB isn't reasonable. But he's shown something already and hopefully he develops into a big part of the offense. I'm wondering if Cannon will be cut and end up on the PS.

Our best RB is 3rd on the depth chart! Woody is cheap! Bowles only plays veterans! Leo is fat! Eric Smith is black! Probs! Probs!! Probs!!!

But we can never cut him because if the Pats pick him up BB will turn him into a beast

Wow. If he’s our best RB we need to trade Crowell to Philadelphia now

Given our WR situation at the moment, throw him in on Sunday!
