It was an awful game but whatever keep the tradition going so here we go

    Studs:

Williamson - dude was all over the field. 14 tackles, making plays in the backfield. 1.5 sacks

Lee - great in coverage and great against the run. was in the backfield causing lots of trouble

Jenkins - had a sack and FF and got good pressure all game

Powell - was really our only offense. 14 carries for 73 yards (5.2YPC) how we didn't throw a single ball his way is amazing

Myers - still perfect on the year on FGs and booms all kickoffs out of the endzone. has a huge leg. glad we found this kid and kept him over baily

Edwards - had a great day punting. long of 62 yards and dropped 3 inside the 20

anderson - non stop motor and good pressure all game and half a sack

Piere louis - fresh off his suspension he blocked a punt that led to a TD and got the offense going

adams - he's a film junkie and it showed. making plays all day and good job at rushing the passer creating pressure

    Duds:

Darnold - it's not all on him, he didn't get much help but he didn't play well either. as a QB you gotta put up points. not unexpected since cleveland did the same to ben and brees the past 2 weeks but still.

anderson - another fumble and is an afterthought in this offense for some reason

    Crowell/Johnson - bonehead penalties

o-line - was getting owned with a 4 man rush all game.

pryor - his career is over. he just looks done. sure would have been nice to get gorden and cut pryor

bates - refusal to push the ball deep, poor playcalling. too many big negative plays on runs. our offense was so predictable. it was brutal to watch

rodgers - terrible playcalling in the 2nd half. no adjustments. nothing but zone blitzes leaving WRs wide open all the time. cleveland WRs aren't great. no reason to not man up and make a rookie QB make tough throws in tight coverage.

Bowles - allowed us to blow a 14 point lead and the team looked undisciplined. too many bownhead penalties. we didn't look like we wanted to come back after a tough miami loss. he needs to get this team fired up and his coaching staff. we now have 9 days to prepare for a tough jags D in another away game

Our schedule - it sucks. seriously. 3 away games in the first 4 games all against really good defenses. first 3 games in a span of 11 days 2 on the road. seriously WTF?

At least it might mean we are picking high enough to get a good Left Tackle - Jonah Williams please!

Plan A in round 1 should be BLTA(Best Left Tackle Available) as long as it's not a reach.

LT in the 1st, RT in the 3rd. secure the ends. maybe grab a G in the 3rd as well. Luckily long is looking pretty good at C right now. probably the lone bright spot on the o-line this year so far

that would be a great draft

In the past couple years the league has changed and right tackle is becoming just as important as left tackle. defenses have found out that come off the QBs blindside is good for sacks but coming towards the RT and in the QBs face causes turnovers. Therefore lots of teams are either blitzing or putting their pass rusher on the RT. This Jets roster needs both tackles

Way too many studs for a team that did not win. Williamson ok. Kicker and Punter, ok. Kid who blocked punt, I suppose, despite making 1 great play, that was all it was, doesn't really make him a stud. Adams did nothing once Taylor was out.

that's part of it but i think it's more of defenses found out that teams best T is the LT so they line up their best rushers on the RT to get the better matchup. the QB will clearly see it coming so they arne't blindsided but that doens't matter because it still disrupts the play and causes the QB to bail

Who are you kidding we all know Mac will take a defensive tackle in the first and a tight end in the third

    Studs:

Avery Williamson- Looked like he gave consistent effort

Me- sat through the whole game

    Duds:

Leonard Williams- put up a goose egg in the stat column and was invisible once more

Middleton- Dad dicked by mayfield and dropped a key interception

Johnson- Secured his bag and now doesn't care to go more then 50 percent effort.

Me- for thinking the jets would win

Whichever Jet injured Tyrod is also a major Dud.

Gotta say our most consistent player has been Edwards.

He’s been getting us out of trouble, flipping the field or pinning them back almost every punt.

I can’t remember one bad punt in any of the 3 games.

From the beginning of the game until Mayfield came in just about everyone on the team either looked competent or better. Once Mayfield came in everyone looked either incompetent or plain crappy. It's like they were all star struck.

As noted above, Myers too - only 2 of his 17 kickoffs have been returned, and even on the kick from the 20 after the Crowell penalty he kicked it to inside the 5 and the Cleveland return man only got to the 26. He hasn't missed a field goal, although he has missed an extra point.
