This lead me to google “worst sports franchise of all time”, and surprisingly, the Jets didn’t make most of the lists. Were it narrowed down to the NFL it would be a different story, but it was interesting to read about so many different teams that have it way worse than us.
My mailman is a Lions fan. You don't find many of them in NJ. I can't blame him for being so negative about them all the time. He's even disgusted by Stafford - partly because of the money he makes. Best thing about my mailman is that he used to work weekends in the Meadowlands as security directing traffic and tells me Giants fans are far worse than Jets fans. He dreaded working Giants games. Entitled, spoiled and obnoxious. Loved hearing every story. Anyway, I feel bad for the guy and haven't tried to catch him in order to discuss the game. Poor guy. Was Caldwell that bad of a coach? By Lions standards, I thought he had them respectable. Oh well.
Jets are closer to that list than you think to be quite honest. This is a huge year for our organization.

That was the only article I found that mentioned the Jets. They weren’t featured in any other article I saw. The guys who wrote that article should reference the others. There are some truly horrendous franchises in American sports...enough to bump the Jets off most lists all together.
