I have him in all of my fantasy leagues. His yards on the ground are meh, but Eli keeps throwing him balls in the air. He got 79 yards in the air tonight. In PPR leagues he got a very quiet 20+ burger. He's averaging like 20 points a game so far.
Yeah, I couldn't care less about fantasy football, I just care about real football. So far he has been incredibly underwhelming other than one play. The 14 receptions today were all dink and dunk, and you know how many were for first downs? That would be exactly one. All he did was help churn up clock, leading to the Giants losing, not winning. I'm not in any way saying he's a bust, but given the hype he has been nothing special at all other than the one play.
I'm surprised you still can't recognize the differences between the 2017 Chiefs situation at quarterback, and the 2018 Jets. FYI: Josh McCown is a nowhere near as good as Alex Smith. Another difference is the Chiefs were a legitimate threat to win their division last season. Of course you sit a rookie when you have Alex Smith for one more year. Let's put it this way, if Alex Smith was with the Jets this season instead of Josh McCown with 1 year remaining on his contract, then Sam would be redshirting this year just like Mahomes did last season.
If Tomlin becomes available, we need to hire him ASAP. Since we have Darnold, he might even want to come.
Scarpino is an ex-employee, so it really doesn't matter, but the "optics" are assuredly bad here. Their window is closing with Roethlisberger, and the rest of the team seems in complete disarray. If Fitzmagic continues next Monday it could end being an explosion, rather than an implosion, in Pittsburgh. Either way ESPN must be thrilled with that matchup next week - way better than they ever could have expected.
If we had Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Sammy Watkins, Kareem Hunt, the Chiefs' O-line, and Andy Reid as coach, Darnold would be putting up elite numbers right now.
Reminds me of the 2011 Jets, but far more talented. That team hasn't been focused ever since Big Ben was thinking of retiring. They underrated the Jags last year and was hyping themselves up for a rematch with the Patriots last year. Its definitely an implosion and Tomlin is losing that locker room, the defense is awful. They have no one else to blame but themselves for not getting another ring. 0 focus. Tomlin is overrated, if we fire Bowles, I am not looking at Tomlin's direction IMO. I'm intrigued in the Chiefs special teams coach / assistant head coach (Dave Toub). Time to try a different direction.
Pittsburgh is a complete trainwreck and no one is talking about it. Toxic locker room. and its a damn shame because with their talent they could knock off New England for us, but they wont.
they keep trouting out that shitty zone coverage, NFL offenses just laugh. That team is just not focused.
Chucky made one of the worst trades of all time. Better get absolute studs with all those draft picks, cause this dude is a beast.
Seahawks offense looks like a total shit. Why am I not surprised to find Brian Schottenheimer on Seattle sideline?
I'm willing to not let his jets experience cloud my judgment and to have an open mind. WHY does Brian Schottenheimer keep getting hired!?
