I see that my prediction that Allen would be the first of the four QBs to be starting will come true (or at least he'll be tied for first).
Mayfield looked okay in his second start. Nothing stands out as outstanding but definitely didn't make any stupid mistakes that I could see. Footwork looked better than his first game. Josh Allen looked decent. Two passes that were pretty bad but got away with as there were no defenders close enough to make a play. Otherwise, some good zip on the ball. Would like to see how he fairs against the 1s.
Yeah, I haven't been a fan of Allen, but that play where he dodged the defender and threw the tight window touchdown was really nice. Almost as good as Darnold's last week on the run.
Yea I seen that, he also looked pretty good the week before. I'd say that Jameis Winston had the best week two performance of any player going 13/18 (72.2%) for 226 passing yards (only 1 sack) and 2 TD's/0 INT's with a QB Rating of 151.4. And could've easily had a 4 TD/0 INT performance (if not for two TD completions being called back). (imo Blake Bortles had one of the worst/ugliest showings of them all).
Plenty of games this week. Should be fun. Nationally Televised Week 3 Games: Thursday: World Champion Eagles at Baker Mayfield and the Browns on FOX at 8:00. Friday: Jets Week 1 opponent Lions at Buccaneers on CBS at 8:00 on CBS (during Giants-Jets though) Packers-Raiders 10:30 on NFL Network. Saturday: Chiefs at Bears at 1:00 on NFL Network. Titans at Steelers at 4:00 on NFL Network. Saints at Chargers at 8:00 on CBS. Sunday: Bengals at Bills with Josh Allen starting at 1:00 on FOX. Cardinals at Cowboys at 8:00 on NBC.
I'm just praying no one gets hurt tomorrow. Baker holding onto that ball far too long on consecutive drives and threw it away on 4th down
