Congratulations to France! The 2018 World Cup Champions!! They were clearly the best team the entire tournament. I watched every Group Stage game looking to see who was the best. France stuck out as the clear best and they continued to play that way throughout the knockout stages. Croatia was a lot of fun, but most of us knew France-Belgium was the true title game. Though you never know how one game will go. Great 2018 World Cup. One of the best in my life time.
I agree. This was one of the better World Cups from the start. Onto Qatar in 2022. I am hoping to be able to watch my first World Cup live in 2022. I hope I don't die or lose my job.
well. Born in Turkey and lived there until I was 26. Visited Saudi Arabia, Iran and Syria already. Oh by the way visited India as well. How worse can Qatar be? Lol 2026 for sure. But 2022 is special in a sense that entire tournament will be played in stadiums within 50 miles radius. Planning to be there after the group stage and watch at least a quarterfinal a semifinal and final. Let’s see.
I thought Croatia was the better team for much of the game. But France is really good too and they deserve it as much as any team. They had a tougher path to get to the final. I'm happy for them!
