Which sometimes led to bad decision making by Fitz, but point taken. Let's see how Bowles coaches now that he's got a potential FQB on the roster who will need to see the field as soon as he's ready given the limited amount of years he'll be on a cheap contract.

No I am not searching for some coach that doesn't exist. I gave you 2 examples from the past season that most NFL coaches would make the right call, not the one Bowles made. I want an average NFL coach that knows how to manage risk even at a basic level.

That's just 2 examples, he's been doing that crap his whole coaching career. Consider my Panthers game example.... Even when he had the great Ryan Fitzpatrick that he supposedly allowed run a dynamite offense, he made the same call!

Bowles BLEW the opening game to the Bengals by making the very same decision. Kicking a field goal on 4th and 1, assuming a 2 point lead would hold up.... .spoiler alert - - it didn't

Sorry U refuse to answer the key question if U were a owner would Bowles be your 1st choice. I ask the same question another way so maybe U will reply lets make a HC draft & the NYJs have the 1 st pick in that draft would U draft Bowles #1or would you choose another HC ?

And I disagreed that most coaches would go for it on 4th down. I don't think they would at all. ESPECIALLY the Falcons game that early on. Panthers game, again going for it on 4th down was not the ultimate reason they lost. They handed the Panthers 14 points in the 4th QTR that is why they lost.

I am sorry but those 2 IMO are nitpicking.

So the Bengals game, if the Jets get stopped at the 1; dont get the lead and never get the ball back would you still complain that Bowles should've kicked a FG and hoped that the defense holds it's own?

For Fitzpatrick, I am assuming you are referring to the Eagles game? They were down 10, they kicked a FG to make it 7 and still fucked up the next drive when Coples had illegal use of hands on 3rd and freaking 16. Fitz in the 4th btw threw an INT. Tough one for the Jets.

Fitz and McCown produce the worst turnovers at the WORST moment ... no wonder Bowles lost trust in Gailey and Fitz to operate the offense.

I already answered your question and I chose Bowles out of the 2 options available. If I could pick any coach, I would pick freaking Bill Walsh but he ain't here to coach and he ain't on this planet either :(

But that is not how it works. The jets didn’t have free choice of every human being in the world to add as coach . Bowles was regarded as 1/1A as coach candidates available in 2015.
Now are you going to say what you did not like about his resume or are you going to continue to champ all over this thread?

How I feel personally is irrelevant in the big picture, its about properly managing risk. But to answer your question, if he went for it and didn't get it in the Bengals game, I actually would not have killed him for it, because its the right call no matter what.

It is old school, outdated, and proven to be the wrong move to kick a field goal and assume a 2 point lead will hold up in today's NFL. In Bowles' case even if he was so dumb and/or stubborn that he doesn't do any analysis on this, he still has personal experience. It didn't work in the Bengals game and yet he makes the same call again, never learning. If we're in that situation again, I fully expect him to make the wrong call again

Sometimes it does hold up, giving your defense an opportunity to stop an opponent. We will see how he does this year, but I saw clear improvement in each season he has been our HC. We can agree to disagree.

So you didn’t think Bowles would be as good as beli? Ok. Doubt you will find anyone who did. If that’s going to be the bar then why bother looking for a coach? That’s some weak shit.

What I said was I quit being a fan. That doesn't mean I stopped watching football.

I tried rooting for the Packers but it just never felt right. I'm back so you're stuck with my miserable ass.

    [RANT]

I'm increasingly sick of the use of any female term as a form of insult. 'Don't be such an old woman', 'stop acting like a girl', 'he's a giant vagina'. I don't have daughters, but I have a wife and a mother and had grandmothers. None of them are/were weak. Women are not inherently weak. Vaginas have babies pushed through them, which is more than any penis has to do in its lifetime.

So just come up with something more original, for fuck's sake. It's embarrassing.

I couldn't care less if you're sick of the use of any female term as a form of insult. Bowles coaches like a little bitch.

Looking forward to finding out what the internet is offended by tomorrow.

I didn't know Belly won every Superbowl in existence. I've been living a lie this entire time.
