haha Bowles doesn't strike me as a big thinker but that's some good self-awareness

 

Wow, another tiny piece from his presser. I think I'll have a big reaction for the fuck of it.

He's basically said you are what your record says you are. But I get it, Bowles isn't allowed to say that. Every other coach in the world is tho.

 

You don’t think we will win with Bowles because he said you get judged by your record?

 

Bowles just commented on what all the fans and sports writers know. It's not a big thing, just some presser news rather then commenting on Sam and how the OTA's really went.

 

Maybe he meant that by judging him he’ll become a better coach.

Because...that’s how it works.

Does anybody actually still watch Bowles' press conferences? It's like watching paint dry. At least he's not predicting a super bowl!

 

Bowles wants to be judged solely on his actions which is fine.

The problem for me is even overlooking the lack of personnel he leaves much to be desired as a game day coach esp in tight games when hes extremely conservative & stubborn.many jet fans are able to see the big picture that if he truly is as conservative & flawed as his actions have shown we will simply not win or it will bite us in the ass on a playoff stage ALA Herm.

Perhaps things change as the roster improves but i dont see how Bowles is immune from criticism at this stage why so many come to his defense i dont quite understand

 

I'd watch Bowles' cure for insomnia over lisping Pete Kendall's after-game pressers any day of the week! Pete Kendall! Knowing you, you probably weren't even born yet! Always gettin' out of everything! They were so awkward it was like someone instinctively saying 'Thank you!' after I accidentally let go of the door at the local Quickie Mart and it slammed in their face! If it was you, I'm not sorry! Who remembers the Kotite pressers! Those were great! They were like rubbernecking at the scene of a fatal accident! Stop whining and get a job! At the Quickie Mart! So I can do it again! This time on purpose!

This. I can take the losses because we simply aren't stacked talent-wise, but the poor game management and conservative style is going to bite us in the ass down the road. I hope all these guys took notes during the Super Bowl.

Cause and effect. Talentless roster = conservative style. He didn’t seem very conservative when fitz set franchise records.

 

Dude coaches like a giant VAAAAAAAAAG. He'll never win a championship in this league.
