I'm not even a huge Bowles guy, I just don't hate him, so I don't care enough to get into semantics. But: I do agree Skrine is horrendous and needs to be gone the second Nickerson proves he can handle the duties, I disagree that Darren Lee misreads play after play... he progressed nicely last year and I think he'll be solid this year. Could be, I'm just basing it off Schefter's tweet where he said he chose the Jets over the Niners because he wanted to play for Bowles.
I remember seeing this kid ball out on the Cowboys. Bowles likes to deploy 3 safety looks anyway, so don't be surprised if you see Wilcox on the field more often than not.

The question is, did they give him a new contract ? If they did then they choose to keep him as they obviously have faith or they see the players have faith in him and believe he is good enough to do something. I wasn't so keen on him myself but after seeing the players give their all last season despite me wanting 0-16 season, I have decided to back Bowles and see how it goes moving forward, a lot of you should be pleased as it is no doubt a huge death knell for him as our HC lol
No a smart owner would have asked himself the question before hiring Bowles can Bowles mentally compete with Belly & IMHO that answer is huge big fat NO so he should not have been hired 3 seasons back then Chris made mistake #2 by extending him again IMHO
