I don't know what you mean by saying I'm not giving him a chance. The chance was given the moment he was drafted. I'm just a realist and know what difficulties he will face and the step up in competition he will encounter. Like I've said before its silly season now and every draft choice is HOF bound and this draft alone will send us to the Super Bowl every year. I also believe Bowles will be the biggest hindrance to this guy succeeding. He is not a good coach or teacher and his staff reflects that as well. I believe any player currently on the Jets will benefit more when Bowles is gone.[/QUOTE] The bold statement is my biggest fear. Good guy, hard working, sincere, but not sure he can take players to the next level and get the most out of them. Hope I'm dead wrong.
I like this guy's approach to the game and just his attitude in general. Him and Fatukasi are having late night playbook study sessions, these guys look to be really hard workers, no BS type of players.

I truly hope he makes it, get 8 seasons out of him and we have had our monies worth. A real story and top fella, best of luck to you Nate.
That was great. I really enjoyed it, thanks for posting it. I loved the $100 bill part. Shepherd seems so humble and he's comes across as so likable and personable. How can you not root for a guy like this? Here's hoping it turns out to be a real Cinderella Story. I love his polo shirt, btw. I want one.

And IYO well researched opinion he's not sincere or a hard worker? Ok There more than enough factual shit to complain about but nah, just guess away and something we have not one stitch of proof over.
Yeah, he fooled Bruce Ariens also. Nevermind he won a fucking SB running the defensive backfield. Such silly notions to fit perceptions...unbelievable
