Ed O’Donnell told Darryl Slater of NJ Advance Media that he never received notification that Anderson was due in Broward County court Tuesday, which is why neither he nor Anderson showed up. “This was no negligence on Robby’s part, and certainly not on mine,” O’Donnell said, via Slater. O’Donnell said he would sort out the misunderstanding Thursday. A warrant was issued for Anderson’s arrest for failure to appear in court to face arraignment on a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. Felony charges were dropped last month

Sounds like the attorney is as fucked up as Anderson is, why am I not surprised? Seems only the attorney OR Anderson had to be in court today and the attorney is blaming it on a clerical error which means he probably threw the notice to appear in the garbage when it arrived.

There is no excuse for this. This schmuck must be one hell of an attorney. Still, Robby isn't going anywhere. He will be a Jet in 2018. The number of games he's eligible to play is the only question.
Sounds like someone between the court and attorney dropped the ball. I’ll cut Robbie some slack on this and only say bad situations have a way of making themselves worse on their own,so it’s best to avoid them all together
And for the record I never got that jury summons either. j/k Robby is defiantly on a short leash but I think he will stick around. His pay is next to nothing so as long as he doesn't become a locker room distraction and stays out of jail he should be fine.

This is why I didn't say anything when the news first broke regarding the warrant for his arreset. I know Robby hasn't made the best decisions of late, but this seemed too egregious even for him.
Agreed. Regardless of whose "fault" it is in this situation, I think it is incredibly sad when young people put themselves in a position to throw away their gifts. I get that people have varying paths to maturity; in his case he's so talented that he could have a long, rewarding career but instead he seems intent on acting out and being a punk. Hopefully he pulls it together before he loses everything...
