Seems pretty cool since the Jets haven't done this in awhile. Anyone else going?
That's a great idea. Sure beats beating up on your own players. I wish I could go to a practice or two, but health and distance precludes that. Hope you have a great time.
Oh I may have to try to get to those practices too. I live in Ashburn near the Skins regular practice facility. I would have preferred to just ride my bike there, but a 2 hour trip to Richmond ain't so bad.
Man, I miss going to the joint scrimmage games at Lehigh the Jets used to do with the Redskins. Those were fun times. I wonder if the teams would allow the fans on the field afterwards to get autographs like they used to, or if the NFL has become too big time for that now.
So true! Nice. Hopefully I can make it up to a practice. I'm hoping the Jets will sign stuff and talk to fans, especially Jets fans coming out to see them, but yeah I am not sure how they will handle that.

What I recall hearing at the time was that when he came in Gruden told the defensive players not to touch him during practice because he was hurt/injury prone. That was fine, but during practice he would supposedly make one-handed circus catches to try to make the defenders look bad, since he knew he wouldn't be getting hit. That's what the "We can put hands on him now. … The boys were already hot for what he was doing last year. Try to one-hand something while you’re with the Jets, you’re gonna catch a forearm” is all about.
