I dont particularly go for such a negative thread..especially right after picking a Blue Chip QB.. However, not trusting this CS is NOTHING new Sam has got to WIN WITH OR WITHOUT their help Kid will figure it out
Darnold is just "mad overhyped"? Who did you want the Jets to draft? So because Hackenberg didn't develop we have proof that Bates won't be able to help develop Darnold? And add a LOL for emphasis!
just a couple issues to iron out - ball security and footwork... oh you mean like the two most important things a QB needs! LOL
No, the most important things a qb needs are a good arm, good instincts, pocket presence, and good accuracy. Fumbling a lot and holding the ball like a loaf of bread is something that can be fixed.
I've always said, Teddy needs to win the starting job or be cut. There's no reason to pay him significant money to be 3rd string, and you have to be willing to let a top 3 pick be 2nd string. Free up/roll over the cap space & have Hack or Petty be 3rd string for peanuts.
Darnold wasnt my first choice and I honestly wasn't feeling this class of QBs, but how are Darnold and Hackenburg similar prospects worth comparing? To me, the only QB you could make that comparison with is Allen.
I assumed this thread would be about Bridgewater building up some trade value while Darnold learned and developed.
Didn't 74 used to be Mangoldenshowers? Hmmm. But yeah, the Golden Showers guy, I uh, I don't he's really a Jets fan.
This may be Hack's way of staying in the league. Bridewater's misfortune is Hack's saving grace. Cold shit indeed but it is what is it. BTW, is Bridgewater's cash guaranteed?
Only 500k. Pretty sure Macc was aware of the knee issues and of course, the fact that Teddy wasn’t all that good for injury and hasn’t played in two years.
Mel Kiper once said that Aaron Rodgers wasn't a franchise QB and that he would be a good backup before that draft.I don't listen to these guys anymore there wrong way more then there right
