Even if Macc drafts a QB he's not gonna start because he signed that turd McCown again. So I have no idea what they will do at 6 but I'm thinking they won't take a QB. If he would not have signed Bridgewater I would still think QB at 6. But now with only signing a back up DT Pennel they might be looking somewhere else.
The defensive line needs an addition from free agency, and the best one left is Ndamukong Suh, but I can't see him wanting to come here, but more importantly I can't see Maccagnan bringing him in for a visit. I never thought if Suh as a trouble maker off the field. Bottom line Suh would be an upgrade compared to Wilkerson. I just want to win. Suh would have a positive synergistic effect with each level of our defense.
The other thing comparisons like this can never capture is the dynamic factors like improvement, regression, brilliant coach scheming, maybe offensive line jelling together just right, etc. Its possible these new guys could all just fit together magically and its going to be rainbows and unicorns for the rest of 2018. Or we could be drowning our sorrows at the Mr. Softee truck.
I agree with all of that too. I definitely think he could if he really wanted to come here and was into it.
