That's not true. He was a work in progress there. The giant dude was the blocker, can't remember his name right now. You're overrating him. It's not a major loss. I liked the guy but it's part of the deal. Guys come and go.
Fucking dude couldn't block if his mother's life depended on it. What the hell are you going on about?
You’ve been watching the Jets OL too long if you thing ASJ can block like a quality OLineman. The guy is an average to below average TE. We can get his production from Legget/Sterling & the position could use an upgrade.
I never said anything about filling ALL the holes! Get real. I complained about making another hole with all the holes we already/still have. Perhaps you should work on your reading comprehension or memory a little.
He's no big loss. I'm glad I don't have to read the beat writers ball washing this JAG for doing the bare minimum for someone in his profession show up in shape/not be a drunk. I think he's a phony who got coached up real good by his PR people. JMO I'll be awaiting his latest DUI/suspension.
If $7M is the going rate for TEs, Mac offered him $4M+ per and he got $5M per then that should tell you what teams think of ASJ. It's called thinking rationally.
He won't do much better next two. Hey, I tried. P.S. If he looks like a decent blocking TE, then maybe he watched too many WFH moments or Wesley johnson getting blown up the middle at the snap.
That was 6 catches for 29 yards ...and in the 5 games we won he had 3 holding calls, one brought back a long run by powell. Fortunately McCown hit Robby 3 plays later for a long TD I know because I must have watched our wins about 5 times each.
If you think losing ASJ is a major blow then it just shows how bad our TE position has been for way too long ! Where have you gone Mickey Shuler,,,,, our nation turns her lonely eyes to you woo whoo whoo
I was going to say that very first sentence. Hes no major loss. He never truly impacted a game that we won. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Wish nothing but the best for him and his 350 yards. He can and will be replaced. I wouldn't just rely on the current depth chart of Leggett, Tomlinson and Sterling, but we might. Apparently the organization has big beliefs in Leggett. I still think we would be wise to bring a veteran of some nature in here to compete with him. Tomlinson is strictly a blocker who can catch a pass here and there and Sterling is simply a JAG. Here's hoping Leggett can get on the field this year.
